- **Event Description**: The Oktoberfest Kiddie Parade will be held Friday, October 2nd at 6:00 PM. The parade will organize in the parking lot of St. Patrick’s Church. Kids are to enter the parking lot from Ransom Street.  The parade will start from Ward Street then proceed down Church Street ending in the parking lot of South Ottumwa Savings Bank. No vehicles are allowed in the parking lot for the safety of the kids. 

Awards will be given in each category. Classes are as follows: 0–1-year-old, 2-3 years old, 4 years old & Kindergarten, Grades 1st & 2nd, Grades 3rd, 4th & 5th, Group Category, Floats Category (no motorized vehicles)

The parade is open to children through 5th grade. Older children may participate but are not eligible for judging.  Motorized vehicles / battery operated WILL NOT be permitted in the parade.  I.E. Barbie Cars, Power Wheels. NO COST TO PARTICIPATE. 

Pre-register by emailing marketing@sosb-ia.com through Noon on Friday, October 2nd. If you do not receive a response, please call us at (641) 682-7541.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN THE PARKING LOT.  Kids would be allowed to participate but NOT be judged. Arrive by 5:30 to assemble with assigned number attached to their back. The winners will be announced in the parking lot of South Ottumwa Savings Bank.
