Many of our friends work the retail, healthcare, and the hospitality service industries, so they work all day on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Thus, often, they don't get to celebrate with their families on the holiday itself. In fact, many don't get to celebrate at all. (Sadly, some of our friends have been alienated from their families due to their religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or an interracial relationship. So, they aren't welcome at home.) Well, none of that matters to us! This is a day to potluck and play games together in fellowship and the spirit of the season. Yes, you can invite others-- it's encouraged. Kids welcome too, of course!
