This 25-hour foundational certification training is designed for both yoga teachers and dedicated yoga practitioners to delve deep into the practice and theory of Yin Yoga, and explore anatomy, sequencing, safety in postures, introduction to meridian theory, and mindfulness.

Program Outline

This training will benefit teachers, practitioners and students alike. It can be used as a therapeutic treatment or as a personal practice. You don’t need to have the desire to teach, only the openness to fully immerse yourself in yoga.
 
More and more practitioners are exploring Yin Yoga. This is a natural reaction to what has become an extremely yang health culture. Yin yoga is the relaxed practice of floor postures for three to five minutes at a time.
 
A yin practice emphasizes the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. It prepares the body and mind for longer meditation practices. By drawing the student’s awareness away from the muscles and deeper into the bones, a deep level of relaxed focus is achieved.
 
This 25-hour intensive is a strong complement for a current Yoga Teacher of any style. It can also be a springboard for the student who is ready to take the leap into a broader perspective and fuller appreciation of the practice of Yin Yoga.

Friday, January 16, 2026, to Sunday, January 18, 2026

    ~ Saturday, January 17, 2026 – 9 am to 6 pm ET
    ~ Sunday, January 18, 2026 – 9 am to 6 pm ET

Cost

$525.00 per person with our EARLY BIRD SAVINGS! Save $50.00 when registering before November 30, 2025. 

$575.00 per person thereafter.

Fee includes:

    ~ Book: “The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga Philosophy & Practice” by Bernie Clark.
    ~ A 5-Class Package for Yin Yoga Classes at PranaShanti Yoga Centre.
    ~ A recording of the training is available until 7 days after the training ends.
    ~ Certificate of Training upon successful completion of the course. 

Note

This course is open to the general public. 6 months to 1 year of regular yoga practice is recommended for participation.

This course, Part 1, is a foundational Yin Yoga certification course. Our Part 2 offering provides an advanced and more in-depth study of meridians/chi and additional Yin Yoga postures. Part 1 and Part 2 are stand-alone certification trainings.

For 200 hour certified Yoga Teachers this course provides CEUs with Yoga Alliance. This course is also part of our Yoga Alliance 300 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.
