Jérôme Lejeune School and the Albacete Forum are hosting a presentation and discussion on the irreducibility of the human person in the age of Artificial Intelligence and technological revolution.

Weaving insights from Pope Leo XIV's recent encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas, and the life and legacy of Monsignor Lorenzo Albacete, the evening will offer a concrete response to the challenges of the digital age.

How best could we resist the temptation to reduce the human person to a set of data to be analyzed? What becomes possible when we reaffirm that a person's greatness lies in their capacity to love, discern, and seek the truth?

Jérôme Lejeune School was formed as a response to these fundamental questions, and forms the basis of its mission to 'educate the heart to reality'. Monsignor Lorenzo Albacete (1941 - 2014) was a priest, theologian, newspaper columnist, and former aerospace researcher and made a decisive contribution to Christianity in America as it faced the challenges and opportunities posed by a new millennium. The Albacete Forum seeks to preserve and extend Lorenzo Albacete's legacy through a series of initiatives, beginning with the collection, archiving and publication of his collected works.

Both Jérôme Lejeune School and the Albacete Forum are nourished by the charism of Msgr. Luigi Giussani and the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation, a pontifically recognized lay movement in the Catholic Church.

Presentation by John Touhey, co-founder of the Albacete Forum, writer and filmmaker, and currently managing editor of Jersey Catholic, the news site of the Archdiocese of Newark, with panel discussion to follow.
