Vettes for Vets 2025

This year will be about the same as the last few years. We'll meet and pre-stage, line up when directed and drive in the parade. There's no weather delay or postponement, it will happen regardless so hopefully it will be nice out.

MEETING
We'll meet and park in the small parking lot by the ball diamond in Forest Park (400 N. Locust St.). The order in which you line up has nothing to do with how early you show up so there's no need to arrive super early. 9 a.m. or so is fine but please arrive no later than 10 a.m.

LINEUP/DRIVING
We'll stage as we're directed to do so, typically around 10:45. The parade will begin but the front will stop on the parade route for a short veterans ceremony before continuing so we'll be stopped briefly. Once moving we'll drive along the route and end up turning west at 5th & Main where the parade will end and we're free to go. We'll be done before noon.

LUNCH
After the parade we're free to go wherever but there's a group of us that have lunch at Smoked Creations BBQ. Anyone is welcome to join us but let me know so I can tell them how many to expect. I'll be letting them know we'll have a group coming this year so nobody else needs to call ahead to make reservations, it will be taken care of.
