- **Event Description**: Truckers & Treats is a trick or treat event that has been held the last 4 years at Walmart in Ottawa Ks. Anyone with a Semi truck, or Large truck is encouraged to bring their truck, park in the lineup and be a part of this for the children. There are a few requirements: 
1. Be there before 3pm to get parked. 
2. Have candy ready to pass out to the children. (You are responsible for your own candy)
3. Prepare to be there for the 4 hour duration.

Decorating your truck or area is optional, but is encouraged. In the past years, some drivers have allowed the children the opportunity to climb into the truck and look around, sit in the seat, and blow the horn. That option is up to each individual. If you would rather not, simply keep your doors shut. We started this with the idea of having an event that allows more "interactions" for the children, and has seemed to grow larger every year.  If you know someone who would be interested, please tell them to come join in the fun. Remember, this is NOT a truck/car show, it is ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN! We hope to keep growing the event every year. We have had so many compliments, and praise from parents stating it was a favorite of their child's. So please come on out, and help us make it a day to remember.
