We’re excited to fundraise as a team to support the wider Shambhala community, Heartwood House (a nonprofit that provides affordable space for charities), and our local food bank to help meet the urgent needs of our neighbours. We are sitting for 12 hours so that our meditation and mindfulness practice may directly benefit others.

This isn't just a day of meditation. It's an opportunity to turn your sitting practice into compassionate action and be part of a profoundly impactful collective experience. By participating, you can deepen your own relationship to your practice and yourself, while raising the crucial funds needed to help Shambhala be a beacon of courage and wisdom to a world that needs it.
