Ready to Respond Event

Respond Ottawa works to prepare, connect and deploy the church of Ottawa to ensure that urgent and critical needs are met during times of crisis in our region.

Natural disasters have hit our region several times in recent years and experts say it will continue. We want to make sure that we are prepared and ready to respond for the next crisis in our city.

We believe God has placed your church in your neighbourhood to be a light, especially in a time of crisis.

Respond Ottawa is inviting you to a free meal and a time of fellowship with local ministry leaders to consider how your church can be ready to care for your neighbours in a time of crisis.

Hear about how other churches in our city have responded and learn from the Ottawa Emergency Managment Office and Samaritan’s Purse (Canadian Disaster Relief team) about how your church can be equipped to effectively respond.

Come and be encouraged to see how God is working in this city, building relationships amongst churches and neighbourhoods and how your church can join in and be ready to respond when the time comes.
