The world has changed. Now more than ever, people need to find common bonds and ways to work together because we are stronger and accomplish more together. The importance of interfaith dialogue in advocacy can't be overstated as it fosters constructive conversations, generates new ideas and a broader perspective and builds bridges of understanding.

On Wednesday, November 15 at 7 p.m. at the Soloway JCC, Rabbi Reuven P. Bulka, Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Machzikei Hadas will moderate a panel to discuss the Importance of Interfaith Work in Advocacy:  

• Farhan Iqbal, Imam with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at
of Canada, Ottawa
• Mandeep Singh, Representative from the World Sikh
Organization
• Richard Marceau, General Counsel and Senior Political,
Advisor for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs
• Julia Beazley, Director, Public Policy, Evangelical
Fellowship of Canada

The interfaith panel discussion is a collaborative effort between the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and CIJA as part of Federation's Members' Meeting to inform the community and its agencies about the current issues affecting Ottawa's Jewish community, Federation's key deliverables, priorities and outcomes. The meeting will also feature brief updates on key Federation activities.
