- **Event Description**: Open Table UCC is hosting Other People’s Poetry (OPP), an evening of reading, and listening to, spoken poetry. The event is an attempt to promote public art, common discourse, enjoyment and fellowship.  The next installment of OPP will be in the lower level of the church at 910 Columbus St. The group currently meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 7 pm.
The evening is designed for poets, wannabe poets, hams, those who fancy themselves orators and actors, dramatic readers, poem appreciators,  poem listeners, anyone really... providing they are age 12 and up.  Bring a poem, another person’s or your own, and read it.  Or don’t read and just listen to those that do.  
Although the event is being held in a church space, it is meant to be non sectarian and encourages  free speech.  
Everyone is welcome.  Welcomed most is creativity and the desire to contribute.
See you there.  You can read, listen, watch, and enjoy coffee, juice, and light refreshments.  Enter through at the side door on Jackson, in the middle of the block diagonal to the old YMCA.
If you prefer to join through Zoom you are welcome to do so, simply look for the Facebook posting with the Zoom information in it the week of the event.
