(((No MFS experience necessary))) Friday JULY 3rd, 2026 Skydive Chicago During FREEDOMFEST Mixed Formation Skydiving (MFS) combines belly flying, back flying, sit flying, and head-down - making for some of the most fun and unique dive flows possible! “Scrambles” means you will be paired with a different partner each round. We’ll do 6 jumps, drawn from the MFS dive pool. We will add up your individual points from each round. Sweet prizes and life-long bragging rights go to the top finishers. Because the MFS camera flyer is always part of the team, and arguably the most challenging position to fly, each Advanced participant will be required to shoot video for 1 or 2 of the rounds. A good attitude is essential for this event. We do a lot of laughing and award STYLE POINTS every round for epic maneuvers and hilarious flubs! NEW! THREE DIVISIONS! Advanced: must be able to take docks and be a safe and proficient flyer while Head Down, Head Up, on Belly, and Back. Also a willingness to rotate through the camera slot on some rounds. Intermediate: Head-Up, Belly, Back flying only! Participants must be able to take basic docks and have the ability to move and fly safely while Head Up, on Belly, and Back. Beginner: Belly and Back only! No vertical flying required. This division will incorporate spins, flips, and rolls. The back-fly points require very little “flying” and more so half-barrel rolls while linked. Back fly experience is not really necessary. REGISTRATION: There is a $20 entry fee for the Scrambles 😎 and we need you to fill out this short Google form. There is no registration fee for Freedomfest boogie. ❗️Once you’ve filled out the form, please secure your slot by sending the $20 fee to our Venmo : @SDC_MatriX Please only sign up if you KNOW you will be attending. Having a no-show or a last-minute cancellation really messes with the logistics of this event. REQUIREMENTS: — Minimum 100 jumps — Ability to safely fly and take docks on Belly (Beginner division) Head Up (Intermediate and Advanced divisions) and Head Down (Advanced only) — Can hit the record button on your helmet-mounted camera. Be willing to fly outside video for 1-2 of the 6 rounds (Advanced division). — AAD and freefly friendly rig (even in Beginner division!) — Be available the ENTIRE day to finish all the rounds, allowing for potential weather holds throughout the day — Good attitude and the ability to laugh at yourself.
