While on site, discover all that Cumberland Heritage Village Museum has to offer. Explore life in a 1920s and 30s rural village, visit the farm animals, see heritage tradespeople at work, and check out the museum’s Fire Hall exhibition, featuring a 1927 fire truck. Bonus! In celebration of the museum’s 50th anniversary, Ottawa Fire Services have invited their fellow first responders, the Ottawa Police Service and the Ottawa Paramedic Service, to display the vehicles and equipment they use each day.

The museum’s canteen will be open, offering snacks and drinks for purchase (cash/debit/credit), and a BBQ will be offered by the Lions Club (cash only). Please note that there is no ATM on site.

Joignez-vous au Service des incendies d’Ottawa pour participer à une journée amusante en famille au Musée-village du patrimoine de Cumberland! Vous aurez la chance de voir de très belles démonstrations et d’examiner de près l’équipement du Service des incendies. Explorez sur place tout ce que le Musée-village du patrimoine de Cumberland a à offrir. Découvrez la vie d’un village rural dans les années 1920 et 1930, admirez des animaux de ferme, observez des artisans traditionnels à l’œuvre et visitez l’exposition de la caserne de pompiers du Musée qui comprend un camion d’incendie de 1927. En prime, pour souligner le 50e anniversaire du musée, le Service des incendies d’Ottawa a invité ses collègues du Service de police d’Ottawa et du Service paramédic d’Ottawa à présenter les véhicules et l’équipement qu’ils utilisent eux aussi chaque jour.
