Encore Performance: On The Air With - IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE

It’s Christmas Eve 1946 and the staff of Chicago radio station WHEW are hard at work re-creating one of the most beloved yuletide productions of all time! It's The Pop-Up Players presenting "On The Air With - IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE."
Nine very talented performers ( last year's identical cast!) will bring to life all of the "Bedford Falls" characters you know and love, complete with live sound effects and retro commercials
( Make sure there’s “Gleam-n-Glow” tooth powder under the tree this year!) in an encore performance of last season's staged radio play adaptation of the Frank Capra film which is based on the story "The Greatest Gift" by Philip Van Doren Stern. ("The Greatest Gift" is used by permission of The Greatest Gift Corporation)

Taking place in the historic “Grand Room” of the Ottawa Masonic Lodge (916 Columbus St.) on SUNDAY Dec.14th, TWO PERFORMANCES ( 1PM / 4PM)

There will be no admission charge but free will donations are encouraged. ALL proceeds received will be given to various Masonic charities in hopes of making someone else's Christmas season a little brighter. This 90-minute (no intermission) adaptation promises some new twists on a beloved holiday classic, and Christmas cookies will be served after each performance. So tie a string around your finger now, and make plans to join us for something very special!
