What is conscious leadership and why it is important for you as a leader?
In its most simple form, conscious leadership is bringing one’s whole self and with total awareness to your leadership position. It requires authenticity to be who you really are. Conscious leaders focus on the “we” rather than the “me” and realize that their role is to create a culture of trust, caring and inclusiveness. The mark of conscious leaders is self-awareness and the ability to tell themselves the truth. Distortion and denial are the cornerstones of unconscious leaders. To lead in our chaotic, non-linear, changing world requires an ability to think in new ways, including being self-aware, embracing uncertainty and ambiguity, and providing a safe sense of belonging for others. Conscious leadership is a journey, not a destination, and it starts with a framework of practices. In this workshop, you will learn 10 simple but comprehensive practices to aid you on your journey to becoming a more conscious leader.
