Discuss and develop your action plan.About this EventHope, Connection and Action:Do you want to be part of the solution to tackle climate change but don’t have the time to become a climate scientist? Join us for a 3-hour engaging and interactive Climate Fresk workshop. In the first part of the workshop, participants uncover the linkages between causes and effects of climate change and in the second part, participants will learn how to kickstart/re-energize a journey of positive climate action that will accelerate the global transition.The highly successful workshop has been delivered to 2.4+M participants worldwide in over 110 countries. The workshop is based on the science of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and is available in 57 languages. The workshop is not a lecture but relies on the power of the collective intelligence of the group.The Climate Fresk workshop model is an engaging and informative .It is designed for both novices and experts. With a team of up to 7 participants per table, you and your team will organize 42 Climate Fresk cards according to cause and effect and complete the Fresk by drawing the interconnections between the cards. You will then finish the workshop with a discussion on possible actions to combat climate change and join the worldwide community of Freskers. The workshop will be facilitated by Knoxvale-Merivale resident Earl Snider and Westboro Resident Don Sproule . There is a maximum of 14 for the workshop. The suggested fee is a donation to TACC.
