Registration for the Cannexus19 National Career Development Conference is now open. We offer a variety of packages at very competitive rates. Both 3-day and 1-day packages are available. Take advantage of special rates for presenters, members of supporting organizations, students and groups!
A full conference registration includes three breakfasts, two lunches, all refreshment breaks and a wine & cheese reception on the first day of the conference, as well as admittance to all keynotes and concurrent education sessions.
Attend either the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Includes the complete functions for that day.
Optional Pre-Conference Workshops
Start your experience at the Cannexus conference with an optional pre-conference workshop. All workshop fees are extra. Register early as seating is limited!
All presenters are required to register for the conference and receive a discount. Presenters may choose either a full 3-day or a 1-day registration.
Member of a Supporting Organization
Members of a broad-based network of Cannexus supporting organizations receive a discount on registration. Register by the Early Bird deadline for a 10% discount and receive a 5% discount after this date. Please note that group rates do not apply on top of the supporting organization discount. Only one discount may be selected. Note: Supporting organizations are listed in the order they signed on not alphabetical order, so you may need to scroll through the list to find your supporting organization.

If you register 5 or more delegates from the same organization at the same time, you qualify for the group rate of 10% off registration fees until the Early Bird deadline and 5% thereafter.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION POLICIES
Accessibility PolicyAll venues for Cannexus are wheelchair accessible with elevators to each level and fully accessible bathrooms on each floor in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). All hotels that offer discounted rates for Cannexus participants follow the AODA and offer adapted rooms for participants who request them.
Support Persons PolicyCannexus does not charge a registration fee to any person who is considered to be a support person accompanying a delegate with a disability to the conference. Please ensure that you inform us if you have a support person in the “Accessibility Needs/Special Dietary Considerations” section of your registration and include your support person’s name so that we can create a delegate badge for him/her.
Special Needs PolicyCERIC is committed to making Cannexus as widely accessible as possible. Should you require additional accommodation, please contact Danielle Levitt at ZGFuaWVsbGUgfCBjZXJpYyAhIGNh prior to registering. Accessibility accommodation requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Hearing loops or Sign Language Interpreters can be provided should a participant request them. Although we will work closely with you to address your special needs, it is not always possible to fulfill all requests. Scent Free PolicyIn response to health concerns, CERIC wishes to limit the use of scented products at its events. Scented products such as hair sprays, perfume and scented deodorants may trigger reactions such as respiratory distress, headaches and more serious reactions. In consideration of others, people attending the event are asked to limit or refrain from using scented products. Your co-operation is appreciated.Dietary RestrictionsParticipants will be asked to provide any dietary concerns in the registration process. Upon check-in participants will be provided with a brightly coloured ticket with their name badge detailing their dietary considerations. Please show this card to the serving staff at the food and beverage station and they will take care of you. Although we work closely with the venue to ensure that dietary concerns are addressed it is not always possible to fulfill all requests.
Photography PolicyAs is customary at conferences, a photographer/videographer will be present taking images of the proceedings, which may include delegates. By registering for the conference, you consent to your photo/video being taken and published by CERIC as part of Cannexus-related materials.
Cancellation PolicyRequests for cancellation(s) must be made by emailing your request to cmVnaXN0cmF0aW9uIHwgY2VyaWMgISBjYQ==. Cancellation requests must be received before January 7, 2019, at 11:59 pm ET.
NO REFUNDS will be granted after January 7, 2019
An administrative fee on a sliding scale will be deducted from any refund for a conference registration (including optional workshops) as follows:
• 20% fee for cancellations requested June 4, 2018 - September 5, 2018, 11:59 pm ET • 25% fee for cancellations requested September 6, 2018 - November 7, 2018, 11:59 pm ET • 30% fee for cancellations requested November 8, 2018 - January 7, 2019,11:59 pm ET
If a cancellation to a group conference registration order results in fewer than 5 delegates attending, the group discount no longer applies and this difference will be deducted before your refund is issued.
Refunds will be issued within two weeks after receipt of the written notice.
It is regrettable that you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Although we sympathize please note that we have a cancellation policy that helps us cover fixed costs due to non-attendance, regardless of circumstance (food and beverage orders, programme printing and transaction costs associated with your registration – none of these can be altered so there are real costs involved).
Delegate substitutions are permissible. Please notify us at cmVnaXN0cmF0aW9uIHwgY2VyaWMgISBjYQ== if you intend to transfer your registration to another person. Supply us with that person’s name and contact information, including their email address. If a substitution results in a change in delegate type (e.g. moving from Presenter to Regular registration), the substitute delegate will be required to pay any difference in registration rate.
