C.A. & Sonny:

An Ottawa-based duo focused on preserving the tradition of Folk music. Using a variety of stringed instruments, C.A. & Sonny sing songs, crack jokes, and tell tales of yesteryear. Their musicality is balanced expertly with their laid back performance, showcasing an enormous repertoire of antiquated melodies and stories, as well as some songs of their own.

Cattail Creek:

A chance meeting in the schoolyard, coupled with the post-pandemic itch to play more music, led these four dynamos of musical desire and generous personality to form Cattail Creek.

Their sound could be described as folk rock, though elements of alt-country, blues, rockabilly, and bluegrass also flow through their lively, foot-stomping music, hearkening back to campfire sing-alongs and tipsy kitchen parties.

The last couple of years have given Cattail Creek the chance to play regularly in Ottawa and the surrounding area at all kinds of venues, events, and festivals. Those who have seen them before know that it’s always a good time when the “pink bag” comes out and the audience joins in the performance.

Stephen Hardy Palmer:

“Spreading his musical joy wherever he goes!” - Full Moon Folk Club.

From opening for The Who and Led Zeppelin to earning a spin on Stuart McLean's beloved Vinyl Café, Stephen Hardy Palmer has had a long and varied career.

Inspired by his 60's heroes like Lightfoot, Tyson, and Joni Mitchell, Stephen has released five albums, with a new album coming out soon. He is now celebrating his 60th year as a working musician, his Diamond Anniversary.

Jason and I were absolutely amazed by how many of you showed up last year, and we decided to take things to the next level this year.

8 dates, 24 local bands to discover.

Your greatest contribution is being part of this journey with us one way or another, and we can’t thank you enough already. If you can afford to, any amount helps our ecosystem greatly. All donations go to the bands performing that evening.
