Under the direction of Founder and Artistic Director Lisette Canton, the OBC performs Bach’s dramatic retelling of the Passion according to the Gospel of John. Joining the choir will be an array of Canadian and international early-music stars, including soprano Hélène Brunet, countertenors Daniel Taylor and Nicholas Burns, British tenor Charles Daniels (Evangelist & arias) and bass-baritone Edward Grint (Christus & arias), as well as Matthew Li (Pilatus) and Alasdair Campbell (Petrus), along with the Theatre of Early Music baroque orchestra.
