This is our final Forest Chanting gathering of this 2026 season.

It is free, and it remains free. But we are starting to invite donations. 

We are not polished singers with elegant voices. We are simple people who gather to sing so that we can feel heard, seen, alive, and able to let something out.

We sing to nature. We sing loud if we want. We sing to the trees, the meadow, the cooling air, the darkening sky, and the turning of the season. Our songs and chants are simple, repetitive, and easy to join. Many are drawn from the spirit of campfire singing and from the album Campfire Tunes by the Reclaiming Collective. BRING YOUR DRUMS! 

We lean toward English-language songs in these sessions rooted in nature, rather than chants drawn from Indian or Hindu traditions such as kirtan. This is part of keeping the gathering grounded in the land, the season, and the simple voices of the people who come. We attempt songs from other languages too. 
Please bring your DRUM to this session -we can be loud. 

Come and end the season with us in a private meadow in the back in a meadow of a private home as the air grows cool, maybe even cold, and we find ourselves reaching again for jackets, warm socks, and the comfort of autumn layers. The sun sets earlier now. The light is different. The season is changing, and we will meet it together. Bring your hand drum or any kind of drum and lets be loud.

You do not need experience. You do not need a strong voice. You do not need to know the songs in advance. You are welcome to come exactly as you are.

Please bring:
flashlight
a warm jacket
warm socks and good shoes
a blanket or lawn chair if you wish
a water bottle
anything small you may want for comfort in the cool air

This is a simple, heartfelt closing to the Forest Chanting season. A gathering to sing, breathe, listen, and give thanks for all that summer held and all that autumn is beginning to ask of us.

All are welcome who can come with gentleness, respect, and reverence.
