With an impressive background in figurative and portrait sculpting, Javier has an extensive portfolio of both private and public exhibitions, including notable projects like Gallipoli and The Scale of Our War at Te Papa.

All skill levels are warmly welcomed to join us for this enriching experience. 31st of May and 1st of June 10am to 4pm (approx.)

During these engaging sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to focus on sculpting the intricate aspects of the head, face, and neck using clay as their medium. The workshop will emphasise simplified anatomy, foundational proportions, and essential elements needed to skilfully recreate the human form.

Please note that clay is provided but the course fee does not cover the cost of tools or firing.
