Kindly funded by Lingen Davies Cancer Support , I Can Dance classes offer you the chance to access a fun and uplifting dance experience in Oswestry.
I Can Dance classes are friendly and social ! You will be part of a group full of like-minded people - who will all get to feel the physical and mental benefits of dancing :)
The sessions are very light-hearted and relaxed and you will find the choreography easy to pick up and a joy to dance 😊
The classes run for 8 weeks during which time you will learn have a go at dancing a number of different dance styles including: Charleston, 70's Disco , Bhangra and Line Dancing !
The series of classes will be structured so that you will enjoy a dance style for 2 weeks , then move on to another style following week 2.
Sessions are open to complete beginners and those with some dance experience - all levels of dancer are welcome here. While the classes aim to increase activeness expect a moderate pace of exercise - this means that your heart will beat a little faster as well as shine a little brighter!
Classes are open to anyone with a cancer diagnosis, whatever stage of your journey. As with any new exercise programme, please ensure that you have consulted with your medical professional if you are unsure about whether you are well enough to participate.
