Join us as we gather for a beautiful retreat day at Woodhill Park in devotion to the rising light and the quickening pulse of the Earth. A chance to meet the tender spaces of your heart before we step into the fire of summer.

Beltane is the sacred midpoint between spring and summer, a festival of blooming and becoming. It is the season when blossom meets flame and mother nature is in her fullness.
Beltane reminds us that we are not separate from nature’s flowering we are the flowering.

This retreat is a gentle yet powerful return to the heart of nature and the true nature within us.

Opening Circle – Connecting to the Heart

We begin in circle, gently arriving together and awakening the heart. Through breath and intention, we connect to the feminine essence within, the mother of abundance, the wise woman of deep knowing.

Qigong, Yin Yoga & Summer Meditation

Through somatic and gentle Qigong and Yin Yoga we move along the heart meridian pathways, softening stagnation and inviting summer’s expansive energy into the body. These gentle practices open the chest, release held emotion and allow life force to flow more freely.

We then enter a guided summer meditation, aligning with the fire element of warmth, joy and connection, inviting the inner sun to rise within.

Shared Lunch

We pause to share a nourishing meal together, joining hearts in community and allowing the morning’s practices to integrate.

Hawthorn Hedgerow Walking Meditation

We step outside to walk the hawthorn hedgerow, a tree long associated with Beltane. Beneath its blossoms we attune to the subtle currents of air and spirit, listening for what our own spirit is calling forward. The hedgerow becomes a place of quiet connection and remembrance.

Reflections & Letting Go

Returning indoors, there will be space for quiet reflection.

Hawthorn Tea Ceremony

We gather for a hawthorn tea ceremony, to experience the healing benefits through mindful sipping.

Cake & Grounding

We ground the energy of the day with lovingly prepared cake, bringing spirit fully back into body through taste, texture and shared presence.

Beading Intentions

Life Beading is a gentle, grounding practice where participants are invited to create a meaningful bracelet using carefully chosen beads. Guided by the quiet rhythm of the hands, the process becomes a form of meditation a way of honouring what has been released, what is emerging, and what they wish to carry forward.

Fire Release Ceremony & Closing Circle

As the day draws to completion, we gather by the Beltane fire.

We close in circle with gratitude, sealing the day with a shared breath and blessing over the bracelets we have woven.
You will leave adorned not only with beads, but with a steadier nervous system, a softened chest and a deeper trust in your own inner guidance and feminine power.
