Join us on October 17 for the first-ever Oswego Lantern Parade, an evening of light, creativity and community along the Fox River.

Leading up to the event, residents of all ages are invited to take part in lantern-making workshops throughout the summer and fall. Then, as the sun sets, those handmade lanterns will come together in a glowing community parade from the Oswego Public Library to Hudson Crossing Park, where the Oswegoland Park District will host the park’s first-ever Night Market.

An evening spin on their beloved Country Market, the Night Market will feature live music, drinks, local vendors, food, a live professional pumpkin carving demonstration, and a sea of lanterns reflecting of the Fox River.

Don’t miss this unforgettable night of light, riverfront views, music, and interactive experiences. Register today to participate in the parade (free), and take advantage of one of these upcoming workshops to start building your very own lantern:
