Join us at Bella-Gia Boutique for Mahjong 101 with Sharon — a beginner-friendly lesson and guided play designed to introduce you to the wonderful world of American Mahjong.

No experience necessary! There are absolutely no expectations that you already know or understand the game. Sharon will walk you through everything you need to know in a relaxed, welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, and everyone has a place at the table.

Sharon will introduce you to the essentials of American Mahjong, including:

• The tiles & suits
• Dealing
• The Charleston
• The flow of play
• Table etiquette
• How to begin building hands
• Playing according to National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) rules

You'll have the opportunity for hands-on practice and guided play, so you can start putting what you've learned into action!

Once a spot is reserved, we turn others away. Because Mahjong requires groups of four players, it can be difficult to fill cancellations on short notice.

We completely understand that life happens! If you're unable to attend, we'd be happy to move your registration to a future class when possible.
