JOHN WAITE With a career spanning more than 40 years, John Waite has delivered some of the most iconic songs of the 80s and 90s. From his #1 worldwide smash “Missing You” to classics like “Isn’t It Time” with The Baby’s and “When I See You Smile” with Bad English, Waite’s unmistakable voice helped define an era of arena rock and power ballads. His music has also left its mark on the big screen, with songs featured in films such as About Last Night and Days of Thunder. Known for blending emotional songwriting with driving rock energy, Waite continues to captivate audiences with a catalogue that remains a staple on radio today. SHANE FONTAYNE The working relationship and friendship between John Waite and Shane Fontayne - who are both from the UK - spans over two decades and 9 albums. Shane has performed in many genres and roles from rock to country and western, from independent musician to producer. Shane’s unique guitar sound is well-known for its jangle, passion, energy, and versatility - and he can rock out with the best as he proved during Bruce Springsteen's world tour. Amongst others, Shane has toured with Mick Taylor, Rod Stewart, Jackson Browne, Sting, Marc Cohn, Crosby, John Waite, CSN, Graham Nash, and he has a long history of recording. As well as a touring band member, Shane has been a member of at least five bands and has produced two albums of his own music.
