No artistic experience? No problem! This welcoming workshop is designed for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned creatives. Marie Brezinski, a renowned Certified Botanical Artist and Illustrator, will guide you step-by-step, helping you unlock your inner observer and translate the beauty of nature onto the page.
Everything you need to start your nature journaling journey will be provided! You'll receive a curated starter field kit and Marie's expert, encouraging instruction. Plus, enjoy delicious refreshments to keep your creativity flowing!

Following an artist demonstration, you'll explore subjects for journaling, learn basic plant structure and identification using provided resources, and discuss ethical observation and collection. The session will include hands-on sketching, utilizing natural and foraged items, culminating in a peer share and an inspiring call to continue your journaling practice in your own favorite natural spaces throughout the week. A light lunch provides a mid-day break and opportunity for further observation.
