Deer Run Trail Grand Reopening & Dedication

After months of hard work and dedication, the renovated Deer Run Trail is ready to welcome visitors 🎉

Volunteers, local officials, community members, and park enthusiasts are invited to join us for our ribbon-cutting and trail dedication.

This reopening not only revitalizes a beloved local landmark but also honors the late Jacob McConkey, who loved Ossipee Lake and generously volunteered his expertise to advance this project. The newly constructed viewing platform will be named in his memory.

After the ceremony, take a walk along the renovated trail and enjoy the viewing platform, which provides the only public land access to Ossipee Lake.

☕🍎🍩 Light refreshments, including coffee, apple cider, and donuts, will be served.
