This year we have four guests who will kick off Pride at Pride House by speaking / preforming around the theme of Community.

This ceremony will be broken down into four sections as follows:

Dan Bjørke - Opening Statement (Norsk, 10 mins, Speech)

Daisy Sælen Hafstad & Aasmund Robert Vik- Pridesamtalene (Norsk, 1 Hour, Presentation)
Pridesamtalene er en samtaleserie av Daisy Sælen Hafstad i samarbeid med Oslo Pride. Serien graver i norsk Pride-historie fra 1974-markeringen på Universitetsplassen, tidlige marsjer og fremtidsutfordringer som trussel mot skeive rettigheter.

Frank Malaba - A Ceremony of Seeing (English, 1 Hour, Performance)
In this intimate opening gathering, multidisciplinary artist and storyteller Frank Malaba reflects on community, presence and what it means to truly see one another. Drawing from Southern African oral storytelling traditions, the piece moves between story, memory, voice and shared experience, inviting the audience into a space of connection, listening and collective reflection.

Marea Mammano - Mycelium Community (English, 30 mins, Performance)
The work explores queer existence as an interdependent and non-hierarchical way of being, inspired by this year’s theme: Community.
The performance invites the audience to step into a shared field of listening, where voice and silences become nodes of a living network. Just as mycelium transmits nourishment, information and care through darkness, this performance creates a temporary queer ecology where presence and interconnections are highlighted. A space where linear narratives dissolve and other forms of knowledge (somatic, ancestral, intuitive) can emerge.
In this sense, the performance becomes a ritual of queer world making.
