For the first time, the Nobel Peace Center invites the people in Oslo to take part in the Nobel Peace Prize Celebration from an outdoor stage at the City Hall Square.
Throughout the day, the stage will be filled with mini lectures, music and inspiring speeches.

16.00–16.05: Welcome
16.05–16.10: Peace Pitch: Maylem Lauvstad on hope for democracy (Board Member, Venezuelan Association in Norway)
16.10–16.30: Concert with Bislett Boys’ Choir
16.30–16.35: Peace Pitch: Carl Henrik Knutsen on the state of democracy (University of Oslo)
16.35–16:40: Peace Pitch TBC
16:40–17.00: Concert with No. 4
17.05–17.10: Peace Pitch with Henrik Syse on peace today (philosopher, former member of the Norwegian Nobel Committee)
17.10–17.30: Concert (secret – artist announced Monday)
17.45–18.15: Torchlight procession stage program
The program concludes with the torchlight procession, which begins its stage programme at 17:45 and departs for the Grand Hotel at 18:15.
FOLKETS FREDSPRISFEST
For første gang inviterer Nobels Fredssenter innbyggerne i Oslo til å delta i feiringen av Nobels fredspris fra en utendørsscene på Rådhusplassen.
Scenen vil fylles med konserter, miniforelesninger og inspirerende taler. Alt er gratis, og passer for alle aldre!
Programmet avsluttes med Fakkeltoget som starter klokken 17:45.
Dette arrangementet er en del av Oslo Peace Days. En uke i desember der vi feirer fred og menneskerettigheter. Et samarbeid mellom Oslo kommune, Nobels Fredssenter, Det Norske Nobelinstitutt, PRIO og Universitetet i Oslo.
