Mná Oslo Irish Choir og Laffí vokalensemble inviterer på julekonsert! Vi byr på stemningsfull sang og musikk med irske, islandske og norske røtter.
Mná Oslo Irish Choir er et kor med base i Oslo og med hjertet i Irland. Koret synger ofte korsang som viser frem den irske folketradisjonen. De samarbeider med irske musikere, noe publikum også vil oppleve på denne julekonserten. Dirigent for koret er Frøya Stavem.
Laffí vokalensemble har også base i Oslo og er oppkalt etter Ólafía Jóhannsdóttir, en kvinnesakforkjemper som arbeidet blant Oslos fattigste på slutten av 1800-tallet. Koret har et bredt repertoar og synger gjerne nyere komposisjoner av islandske komponister. Dirigent for koret er Rebekka Ingibjartsdóttir.
For konserten har korene hentet frem sine førjulsfavoritter fra Irland, Island og selvsagt Norge. Kom og tilbring denne ettermiddagen med sang og musikk.

Mná Oslo Irish Choir and Laffí Vocal Ensemble invite you to a Christmas concert! We offer atmospheric singing and music with Irish, Icelandic, and Norwegian roots.
Mná is a choir based in Oslo with its heart in Ireland. The choir often performs choral works that showcase the Irish folk tradition. They collaborate with Irish musicians, something the audience will also experience at this Christmas concert. The choir is conducted by Frøya Stavem.
Laffí Vocal Ensemble is also based in Oslo and is named after Ólafía Jóhannsdóttir, a women’s rights advocate who worked among Oslo’s poorest at the end of the 19th century. The choir has a broad repertoire and often performs contemporary compositions by Icelandic composers. The conductor is Rebekka Ingibjartsdóttir.
For this concert, the choirs have brought out their pre-Christmas favorites from Ireland, Iceland, and of course, Norway. Come and spend this afternoon with song and music.
