Recognizing that this demographic is underrepresented in the ECE field, the CoP aims to build a safe and supportive space where men and gender-diverse educators can connect, share, and grow together.In this CoP, participants will have the opportunity to:• Explore the unique joys, challenges, and perceptions of being a male-presenting educator in early learning environments.• Discuss barriers that male-presenting educators may face, including stereotypes and societal expectations, and identify strategies to navigate them.• Share practical solutions, ideas, and successes that promote positive change for themselves and the wider ECE community.• Build a sense of belonging and camaraderie, while fostering an inclusive, equitable learning environment for all children and families.Whether you’re new to the field or have years of experience — you are invited to come as you are and help build a supportive network for each other and the children we serve.
