- **Event Description**: Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 4 and bring the kids out to Camp Samac in Oshawa for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt! This event was started by Jamie Caswell in 2010 and this will be the 14th year it runs (minus the Covid years). This is a fun FAMILY event open to the public, not just to Scouts!

Families can enjoy Guided Hikes through the park to find plastic Easter eggs. They can also participate in a variety of games and crafts, and all children ages 3-12 get to choose an Easter Treat - with their registration fee of $10. Additional treats can be purchased for $3.00 for younger or older participants.

Children UNDER 3 ARE FREE! All other participants ages 13+ (including adults) pay a $5.00 entrance fee. These fees help support the maintenance of our beautiful park and program materials.

Registered Scout and Guide youth who participate will also receive an Easter Event Crest included in their registration fee (while quantities last!)

Come spend a few hours at Camp Samac, a beautiful 160 acres of forest, creek and lake in the City of Oshawa! The event runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Guided hikes go out every 15 – 20 minutes. There are several different routes, short and longer, with some being stroller and wheelchair accessible. You may go on as many hikes as you like! Indoor washrooms are available and parking is FREE! There is no food or beverage on site.

Please dress for the weather as this event will run Rain or Shine! Please bring a bucket for children to collect plastic eggs.

Medical Venturers will be onsite in case of injury or emergency.

Entrance to the park is 275 Conlin Rd. Oshawa.

Pre-Registration is now open. You can register at the link below and pay by credit card or PayPal. On the day of the event, Cash or Debit only will be accepted at the Registration Tables.

All persons who are NOT registered Scout members will need to sign a Hold Harmless form in advance or upon arrival.
