Silent Walk & Reflective Writing

Join us for a peaceful in-person experience where we’ll take a silent walk together, soaking in the sights and sounds around us. After the walk, find a cozy spot to dive into some reflective writing, letting your thoughts flow freely on paper. It’s a perfect chance to unwind, connect with yourself, and get inspired. Come as you are and enjoy this calm, creative gathering!

January 10th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Treehaus Studio

February 8th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Treehaus Studio

April 25th , from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Better Place Forests in Marine on St. Croix

Each walk will take place along either the Willow Trail at The Acreage, featuring a 3.5-mile loop in January and February, or the Northern Loop Trail which encircles the St. Croix Valley Forest, offering a 1.5-mile loop in April.

Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and scents of the season while engaging in deep reflection and contemplation. After each walk, we will return to Treehaus Studio for a free-writing session or to the Better Place Forests Welcome Tent in April to reflect on our experiences.

We will keep the fire going and provide plenty of hot cider and tea, along with comforting snacks to share. If you need a little support, we will offer thoughtful prompts to help spark your creativity in writing. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space where sharing is optional. Everyone, regardless of skill level or experience, is welcome.
