本年も、第１回目の昨年に引き続き第２回目となります、
スペシャリストと共に犬猫の福祉向上のための繁殖管理について考える、日米合同カンファレンスを大阪にて開催いたします！
本年は、当法人と兼ねてより交流のある南カリフォルニア最大の非営利獣医療団体Community Animal Medicine Project (CAMP)（※）
https://www.campla.org/ から代表のZoey Knittelならびに医療チームの皆様をお招きし、ロサンゼルスの実情とそれに対するCAMPの活動の実際について、お話しいただきます。
（※）Community Animal Medicine Projectロサンゼルス全域で低コスト・大量の不妊去勢手術と4つの一般獣医療診療所、さらには地域を巡回する2つの移動診療所を運営し、獣医療サービスを必要としている地域社会に多大なる貢献をしています。
また、当会からはトレーニングチームリーダーの大門獣医師が、Spay Vets Japanが実施するトレーニングプログラムの実際を発表させていただきます。
さらにご希望の方には、カンファレンス後には懇親会をご用意しておりますので、是非CAMPチームとの交流、ならびに聴講者との交流をお楽しみいただきたいと思います。

🌸 Invitation: Japan–U.S. Joint Conference 2025 hosted by Spay Vets Japan (Osaka)
We’re excited to announce the 2nd Japan–U.S. Joint Conference on Humane Population Control for Companion Animals, hosted by Spay Vets Japan in Osaka (Umeda) on Sunday, November 30, 2025!
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s conference will once again bring together specialists from both Japan and the United States to explore how we can improve the welfare of dogs and cats through effective population control strategies.
We are honored to welcome Zoey Knittel, Director of the Community Animal Medicine Project (CAMP) — the largest nonprofit veterinary organization in Southern California — along with her medical team. They will share insights into the current situation in Los Angeles and discuss CAMP’s real-world community veterinary programs.

CAMP operates four full-service veterinary clinics and two mobile units across the greater Los Angeles area, providing High-quality, High-volume spay/neuter services and essential veterinary care to underserved communities.
From Spay Vets Japan, Dr. Daimon, our surgical training leader, will present on the structure and achievements of our hands-on spay/neuter training programs.
After the conference, we’ll also be hosting a casual networking reception — a great chance to connect with the CAMP team and fellow participants!
