- **Event Description**: The American Legion TW Barnett Post GR14 invites all Legionnaires, veterans, and community members to join us as we participate in The City of Buedingen's Volkstrauertag Memorial Service this Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Volkstrauertag, the German equivalent of the US Memorial Day, is a solemn occasion to honor the fallen. We will be joining the RK Buedingen to pay our respects to:

Fallen German veterans of World War I and II.

US Veterans who were stationed at Armstrong Kaserne in Buedingen and have died serving their country and region in Iraq, Bosnia, and Germany.

Following the service, veterans are invited to a German & American fellowship in town to share stories and strengthen the bonds between our communities.

We look forward to honoring the sacrifices of these brave men and women alongside our German partners. See you there!
