For the first time at the Brasserie du Village, he will be performing with his band, The Ramblers — a local acoustic three-piece group featuring Ryan MacDonald on vocals/guitar/banjo, Greg Bohemen on stand-up bass/vocals, and Alice Packard on fiddle!
Come on down for a night of foot-stompin’ original songs, as well as a long list of country, folk, and American covers.

Ryan MacDonald is a singer/songwriter from Elgin, Qc whose music is steeped in the traditions of Folk, Country, Bluegrass, and Americana while carrying the grit of his punk and metal roots. With his band, The Ramblers, he delivers raw, foot-stomping songs driven by upright bass, fiddle, and acoustic guitar. Influenced by The Devil Makes Three, Brown Bird, Doc Watson, Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, and a variety of old string bands—as well as folk-punk. MacDonald keeps the acoustic heart of roots music alive while pushing it into new territory.
