Join BIG-FM live on location for a moving tribute, and fundraiser on Saturday June 20, 2026 from 10:00am-2:00pm.  Throughout the day a portion of sales at Bergeron Garden Center will be donated to The Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Thérèse Bergeron, Michel Bergeron's wife, who passed away a year ago.  A portion of sales will also be donated to the Rockland Help Center.  

*Cash donations will be accepted on site, and The Rockland Help Center is asking that we bring non perishable food item as donations drop in the summer months. 

Yes, it's a family event (rain or shine) with a mini petting zoo and ice cream will be available. 

Look Way Up: Derrick Scott, weather permitting, will be broadcasting live on top the BIG BIG BIG Chair at the entrance of the garden center from 10:00am-2:00pm, a first for radio. Come meet Élise from GO-FM at the base of the chair and chat about plants!" 

Tune in, stop by, and help raise funds for these two important causes/charities.  What makes this event, and day meaningful, June 20th would have been Thérèse's birthday.  

As the shelves at The Rockland Help Center (Food Bank) are becoming bare, non perishable food items (canned good) would be greatly accepted on site.  BIG-FM, and it's sister station GO-FM, will be accepting monetary donations during the live broadcast.

Joignez-vous à BIG-FM en direct sur place pour un hommage touchant et une collecte de fonds le samedi 20 juin 2026 de 10 h à 14 h.

Tout au long de la journée, une partie des ventes du Bergeron Garden Center sera remise à la Société canadienne du cancer en mémoire de Thérèse Bergeron, l’épouse de Michel Bergeron, décédée il y a un an. Une portion des ventes sera également versée au Centre d’aide de Rockland.

Regardez vers le ciel : Derrick Scott, si la météo le permet, diffusera en direct depuis le sommet de la très grande chaise BIG BIG BIG située à l’entrée du centre jardin, de 10 h à 14 h — une première en radio. Vous pourrez également voir Élise de GO FM au bas de la chaise pour vous rencontrer et jaser de plantes !

Écoutez-nous, passez nous voir et contribuez à amasser des fonds pour ces deux causes importantes. Ce qui rend cet événement encore plus significatif, c’est que le 20 juin aurait été l’anniversaire de Thérèse.

Comme les étagères du Centre d’aide de Rockland (banque alimentaire) se vident, les dons de denrées non périssables (conserves) seront grandement appréciés sur place. BIG-FM, ainsi que sa station sœur GO-FM, accepteront également des dons en argent pendant la diffusion en direct.
