Pokemon trainers! This will be a Pokemon Prerelease tournament held here at Coliseum of Comics on East Colonial. It will be a sealed booster pack Tournament limited to 40 players. Please arrive before registration time for the best chance at entering the tournament. Once those 40 slots are filled, we will NOT be taking additional entries. If we hit our limit before registration/tournament times, we will start the prerelease early. If all spots are not filled, the tournament will begin at 1:30PM with the registered players on site. Regular Pokemon League play will be held for players who are not participating in the prerelease. Each player receives a 22 card pack featuring key cards from current and prior sets, 4 Booster Packs, and 1 of 4 alternate art promo cards (energies will be provided). Games are played Swiss style with 4 prize cards instead of the traditional 6 with 20 minute rounds. Players do have to bring or purchase their own dice/damage counters and card sleeves if they want their cards protected during play. Please be sure to bring your Pokemon Player ID if you have one already. You can get one through www.Pokemon.com. Prizes include 3 booster packs for players who participate in all 3 rounds. Once again, space is limited to 40 players. Please arrive well before registration time for the best chance at entering the tournament. Coliseum of Comics opens at 11:00AM on Sundays.
