FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando - is located at 221 E. Colonial Dr. in downtown Orlando, just a few blocks east of I-4. Put the address 718 Highland Ave. into your GPS to be taken directly to the first parking lot. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!

Info: Welcome to Fingernail Moon Studio. We will take a few minutes for introductions and directions around the studio.

Info: If you are new to metal clay, this 90 minutes will be to learn how to create jewelry. You will learn how to texture, cut, shape and refine metal clay and make your first piece(s). If you are an experienced metal clay artist, now is your time to get started!

Info: Time to take a little break and grab a bite. There is an incredible variety of restaurants in the area, all tastes and price ranges. A couple are in walking distance. Or you can bring your lunch and eat in the studio.

Info: 4 hours now to dig in and create as much bespoke bling as you can!

Info: Torch firable pieces can be fired as you go. Anything not already fired will need to be fired and finished during this hour. Larger pieces that need to be kiln fired can be left with the instructor and picked up the following week.
