Judson's Live - Something Else!

Something Else! is a dynamic soul jazz revue led by Vincent Herring, featuring a rotating septet of top-tier musicians delivering electrifying performances. In Vincent’s words, the group brings together “the best musicians playing great music and enjoying it thoroughly—an energy that’s truly infectious.” Their shows are a celebration of the soul jazz genre, blending fresh takes on classic tunes with original compositions, all rich in soulful, funky and masterful improvisation that captivates audiences.

Billed as the “Jazz Super Group,” Something Else! continues to redefine soul jazz under Vincent’s direction. Having thrilled audiences at major festivals like North Sea Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Exit 0, Charlie Parker Jazz Festival and Syracuse Jazz Fest, they are firmly established as a must-see for jazz enthusiasts.
