VB is a trained Yoga instructor and leads with care and clarity.About this Event||Atha Yoga Anushasanam||Now, the teachings of yoga.—Patanljali Yoga Sutra 1.1—“Now begins the study of yoga.” In this simple, yet rich, translation of Patanjali’s Sutra I:1, Atha yoganushasanam, there is a call to be here and now. The sutra is what VB Joshi’s Yoga sessions abide by. When you are on the mat attending VB’s Yoga classes you will learn to be in the present and learn the traditional authentic Yoga as passed on by the sages and Rishis for thousands of years.VB has completed Asthanga and Hatha Yoga Certification from Pune, India. He is a certified teacher at Genesis Health Club in Maitland (previous RDV Sportsplex) and also at Orlando Wellness Center, Downtown Orlando. VB has been teaching for last 7+ years and has taught Yoga for more than 2000 hours and counting. In February 2024, VB also completed Iyengar Yoga studies and the Koundali Yoga Flow. He loves to incorporate several important aspects of various Yoga teachings into his practice and ensure that the students benefit from different styles of Yoga.VB also ensures that all levels of Yogi’s benefit from the sessions as he often says “Yoga is for everyone”. The notions, especially in the west, that you must be flexible to do yoga, my poses don’t look as good, I cannot do certain poses, I will look bad in yoga class because others are too good etc. are all myths and VB leads the class by creating a safe and fun space for every individual attending, no matter their skill level. That is the reason his classes are widely popular and loved by many.Let’s share this journey of Yoga together.
