Brubeck Brothers Quartet

Great jazz genes are in the house when The Brubeck Brothers Quartet swings by Judson’s Live with their celebrated jazz heritage and signature sound. Led by Chris and Dan Brubeck—sons of jazz icon Dave Brubeck—the group mixes straight-ahead jazz with masterful touches of funk, blues and world music.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chris and Dan Brubeck have been making music together for most of their lives. Drummer Dan and bassist, trombonist and composer Chris cut their first record together in 1966. They’ve played a variety of styles in different groups, as well as with their father, jazz giant Dave Brubeck. Along with Dan and Chris, guitarist Mike DeMicco and pianist Chuck Lamb round out the dynamic quartet. The group performs at concert series, colleges and jazz festivals across North America and Europe including the Newport, Detroit, Montreal, Playboy/Hollywood Bowl and Monterey Jazz Festivals.
