Madison has dabbling in photography for many years going all the way back to her first real 35 mm film camera in 1978.

Film was later replaced with digital technology and she continued to hone her skills over the years.

She would be forced, however, to take a long break from photography as life threw a few curveballs her direction.

Theft of all her equipment, a long Coma, highly invasive Cancer with its years of treatments and gender transition all took over her focus.

Once those obstacles were overcome the passion for making "time stand still" took over again. Nothing captures that fleeting moment better than a photograph.

"There is so much happening all around us all the time, and to freeze that instant forever is powerful"

She does consider herself someone who "captures photographs" reacting and observing the beauty of things in nature.

"I grab my gear, head out to adventurous places, see what happens and try to capture what I see and feel".

"I hope that these little snippets in time and place can transport you, however briefly, to a different mindset".
