Orillia Repair Cafe - Spring 2026

The Orillia Repair Café is a community event presented by Sustainable Orillia that brings together volunteers and attendees to repair various items, promoting sustainability and reducing waste. The event is held twice a year, with skilled volunteers attempting repairs on a wide range of items, including household items, appliances, clothing, jewelry, electronics, and wooden furniture. The goal is to encourage repair over replacement, leading to conservation of resources and a reduction in carbon emissions. The atmosphere is vibrant and positive, with light refreshments and snacks provided, and children are welcome to attend with supervised activities. The event is supported by Sustainable Orillia and Lake Country Time Trade, and donations are gratefully accepted to cover other costs of the event.
