Tuesdays with Morrie tells the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, a successful journalist consumed by his career, and his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz.
Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch sees Morrie featured on a television news program and discovers that his beloved mentor is battling Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).
Reunited after years apart, Mitch begins what he expects to be a brief visit. Instead, it becomes a weekly ritual - an intimate series of conversations that evolve into Morrie's final, most profound class: a lesson in what it truly means to live.
