In 2005, Mary founded Toast & Jam DJs, a top DJ company in Chicago, which has soundtracked thousands of weddings, galas, and corporate events.. She is also one of the founders of CHIRP Radio, where you can hear her show “The Noonday Underground” on Mondays from 12-3p. She has performed at Chicago institutions like The Hideout, Empty Bottle, The Metro, Schuba’s, Evanston Space, Robert's Westside, GMan, MCA, Millennium Park, The Whistler & others, as well as internationally at All Tomorrow’s Parties in the UK. She is also the host of the podcast "All Up In My Lady Business." In 2025, she founded "Hot Flash Dance - A Punctual Party for Rowdy Women." She also keeps bees and makes needlepoint and half-finishes quilts at her home in Evanston, IL with her man, John, and lil dude, Sebastian.
