    About Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

    The Ford Piquette Plant was built in 1904 and served as the first assembly factory built for the Ford Motor Company. In 1907, in a small room on the third floor, Henry Ford would design and build the first Model T, in time ushering in the automotive age.
