apexart is an educational arts institution that has served as an important incubator for curators and creatives for almost 30 years. We are propelled by the notion that exclusivity is contrary to creativity. Our Open Calls emphasize transparency and fair selection procedures by large decentralized juries, and our Fellowship program provides important introspective opportunities for artists to consider new ideas and issues.Since its inception in 1994, apexart has presented 243 exhibitions, in 33 countries giving professional exposure to more than 1200 artists. More than 210 artists and curators from more than 50 countries have participated in an apexart fellowship.Admission to apexart’s gallery is always free and open to the public.
