Decoding the Latest Developments in International Tax
Join us for an engaging and practical discussion on the evolving landscape of international tax policy. Derek Drysdale will break down topics such as digital service taxes, the global minimum tax, and other so-called “unfair foreign taxes” featured in recent U.S. legislation, including Congress’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
Learn what international tax rules currently apply, which companies are affected, and how these changes might impact your business or clients.
Derek Drysdale brings over 20 years of experience advising multinational companies on international tax and cross-border transactions. He has worked on both sides of the table, as part of a Big Four international tax team and as an in-house international tax director for a Fortune 500 company.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting (tax emphasis) from BYU and is a licensed CPA in Utah. Derek serves on the boards of Youthlinc and World Trade Center Utah.
