Winter Solstice Sunrise

The Hopewell Culture is known for tracking both solar and lunar alignments in their earthen structures. Come watch the Winter Solstice sun rise through the mounds and observe the alignment with us!
Gates open at 7am. Sun rise is predicted to be around 7:50am.
Museum open 7am-10am.
Site grounds/Hiking trails open 7am-5pm.
Free to the public.
